We will be spending the Summer memorizing scripture! At Trailside Student Ministry, we believe that scriptural memorization is more than just for earning Awana badges... The Word of God exemplifies and instructs us to store the Word of God in our hearts. Why? So that we might not sin against Him. But it's more than that - the Word of God can ground us against things like anxiety, fear, uncertainty, and helps us to discern what is true and what is a lie from the enemy. We are taking the idea of the "coffee-cup" bible verse and applying it to a summer theme called "Summer Cold Brew." Coffee-cup bible verses are those you might find on a coffee mug. They are simple, repeatable, memorable, and draw us to powerful truth about God and His creation. Join us this Wednesday night as we dive into the Word of God together!
